How should LiFePO4 batteries be stored?

LiFePO4 (LFP) batteries should be stored at 50% State Of Charge (SOC) between -20 degrees C and +50 degrees C.  At that state, the voltage per cell should be stable at 3.2V to 3.3V per cell.  LFP batteries have a very low self-discharge rate and do not require trickle charge or float charge during storage unlike traditional lead-acid or AGM batteries.  Ideally store at normal room temperature with a relative humidity of 30% to 60%.
